The Oscars and how I feel about them:

I was going to snub the Oscars just like they snubbed Leo but I had to witness two very huge and different milestones for two of my favorite actors that have been a part of my life for a very long time. Oh Natalie, I cried for you. I remember seeing “The Professional” and thinking you were the most bad ass kid to be able to so see that violence and still carry on with your life. I know it was just a movie, but in making that film you changed me. When you dropped your career to go to College (Harvard none the less), when you decided to take on Phantom Menace and then the rest of the SW Prequels, shaved your perfectly round head, when you did “Anywhere But Here.” I grew up with you. You have brought me nothing but a consistent joy with your wonderful art, your simple yet timeless, elegant mannerisms and that goofy laugh I have been in love with all of these years. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit and congratulations on your long deserved Oscar. i love you

Why was Celine there? I love Celine, I really really do. Of course she has an amazing voice but her performance was some what awkward and definitely not her best. Maybe she’s tired from practicing her new show, who knows. I’m excited for Vegas though.

Oprah, hail.

Annie, my love affair with you is eternal. All I can say is that you did a WAY better job hosting than James Franco (who looks as if he has alopecia, btw) and that Brad from the Rachel Zoe Project was correct when he called you a gay man trapped in a womans body. BRAVO! I know you love Broadway and I just want to say you did it justice with those pipes. BEST DRESSED with that tux in my eyes

I added Mila in here only because of her dress. She was getting so much crap at all of the other award shows (it was either too adult or too young or too this … blah) and this was just right.

Today my day has started at a 10 for sure.
